Peanut the Mixed Breed (Tabby) Cat

Peanut just marched up to me back in 2004/5 and jumped into my car sitting fairly still in the front passenger seat while I brought him home and wondered how to convince my family to let him stay with us. He was very intelligent, and could lure outside the house, and wham the door close, and somehow, flip the deadbolt, locking me out, as well as turning off the front porch light. He always gave the girls (felines) a run for their independence, and he just also vanished one night (although we kept our felines indoors most of the time, my parents felt that they needed to be allowed outside to get some play and rowdiness out of them--although I tried my best to keep them all indoors), and my dad, whose heart he had stolen, was devasted as much or even more than the rest of us (and that is alot) when after several nights, days, about 2 weeks, he never came home. Thank you Peanut for loving us and adopting us as your family.
