Our nineteen year old girl Tabby (Tabitha) was put down this evening, she's suffered over the last year with strokes which left her with mobility problems and she took a downward turn yesterday afternoon. She seemed to have had another stroke although she was eating yesterday and in the morning she quickly went down hill, taking no interest in food, her legs moving in jerking seizure like movements and her breathing becoming worse with fluid in the lungs. We hoped she would fall asleep and quielty pass away but as the hours went by she was clearly suffering and could hardly breath, eventually we took her to the vets to end her suffering.
She was a lovely little girl and will be greatly missed by everyone.
Bye bye Tabby you will always be loved.
