Rhodie the Rottweiler Dog

Rhodie was my best friend. I bought her when I finished secondary school and she went everywhere with me. She was such a friendly dog who always knew what I was feeling. When I was sad she would just sit with me. Then I got married and moved away from home and took her with me. My husband camped away all week so she would sleep in his spot in the bed. Then I got work and wasn't home as much so I bought another rottwieler named Jedda. Rhodie accepted her with opened paws and became great pals. Jedda looked up to Rhodie. Then I had kids and she would watch over them always. Then when she turned 7 she had a huge tumor removed from her stomach, the cancer was malignant and weren't sure how long we had. She lasted another 2 years. In the end she was struggling to breath. It was the hardest thing to do but I got the vet out and put her to sleep. I buried her outside my bedroom window where she can see out at the view and planted a big goldern elm. It's been neally 4 years and I still shed a tear when I think of her.
I love you Rhodie you'll be forever in my heart....
