Pupperz the Mixed Breed Dog

Pupperz, you gave so much to all of us! You were our protector, our hero, our best friend and our family. I can still remember the day that you joined our family. You were just a couple of months old and an energetic ball of fur with the sweetest brown eyes. We never thought that we would ever have enough energy to keep up to you... You were mom's protector when she got hurt. You helped her keep her spirit when so much was challenging it. When Tyler was sick you always warned us so that we would know when an attack was coming and were prepared. You listened to Samantha when she first began playing the flute, so that we didn't have to endure that pain...(you will never know how much we appreciated that!!) We knew that for the last year you haven't quite been yourself. But when the seizures started we knew that it was time. Yet you didn't want to let us go even though your body was so tired. It was as though you wanted to make sure that we were okay. I hope that you forgive us for our decision to end your suffering. In my mind I know that we did the only thing possible so that you we at least be able to take your dignity with you; yet my heart hurts so much without you! There will never be another pet that could ever fill your paws. You will forever be missed!
