Lucas the Mixed Breed (Tuxedo) Cat

Lucas was a one of a kind cat. What a personality he had, always "talking" to me and forever following me around the house. Who would of thought getting a kitten from a flea market (for free!) would have made such an inpact on our lives. Lucas was more than just a cat, he was our friend and family member. We took Lucas with us all over the world (we were military) and he hated moving, but loved being with his family. We miss him and think of him everyday. When he was killed, our hearts were forever broken. We love and miss our tuxedo baby and hope someday to see him again. In the meantime, I have made a point to rescue other kitties to give them loving homes, as well as volunteer at a shelter to help save even more kitties. Hopefully Lucas is proud, and he is glad to know some good has come out of losing him. No one could ever replace my Lucas, but I feel a little better knowing I have helped some other felines just like him.
