We adopted Jupiter from our local humane society over 20 years ago. She has been the head of the household up until we adopted our Greyhound 5 years ago. Although she was naturally skittish at first, she certainly made it clear to our new addition that she was infact still in charge. About one year ago Jupiter lost her eye sight and hearing. Watching the interaction between our dog, Fortune, and Jupiter during this last year was certainly heart warming. She would lay on top of or on the side of Fortune and he would stop what he would be doing to let her walk by or eat from her dish. Their friendship developed into a sight to see. We will miss her nuzzling and roudiness. She was a great friend.
