Zippy

Zippy, you will always live on in my heart. You were the creature that made me fall in love with birds. I knew you were perfect the moment I saw you in the pet store with your hourglass shaped spot on the back of your head. Cuddling with you during your last moments, and hearing the beat of your heart and the whosh of your breathing are some of my favorite memories. I’m going to miss you grooming my hair for me. Though it’s been over a year that you’ve been gone, I want you to know you’re always in my heart.
