Yeah… Don’t you just get so irritated by parents some times? I really don’t like to use the word "hate", but I’ll make an exception when using it, and thats with my stepdad. I have never truly hated someone like I hate him… but anyway….
Oct 17, 2004 at 12:00 #473900yes, actually. They have 4-H shows. You can go here to find out more: http://www.4husa.org/index.aspx or http://www.4-h.org/ Hope I helped
Oct 17, 2004 at 12:00 #474138Thats awful! I don’t know Royal Calibur, but he sounds familiar… Gosh, how awful. I would hate to have to put an animal down…..
Oct 17, 2004 at 12:00 #474065I’m not sure where I stand when it comes to animal rights/ animal welfare. I think I lean more towards animal welfare, than anything… but its a pretty interesting topic….
Oct 16, 2004 at 12:00 #473828Still! It seems like a nice place. Right now I go to a family-owned farm. They used to do lessons and camps and stuff. They even had 15-16 horses at one point! (they have about 12-13 acres), but now they don’t use 2 of their barns (one is a 2 horse barn, the other is a 4 horse barn)… they only have 8 horses, and they only own 2 of the eight. The horse I lease is boarded there.
Oct 16, 2004 at 12:00 #473902I would love to! No, you definitely don’t have to own a horse, as over half the people in my club don’t. But they do often do activities that involve riding. Its basically a club that does things/activities that involve horses. We meet once a month and plan activities to do (in october we’re goin to the international horse show, which is an awesome show that does show jumping.. then cool things like jack russel terrier races, trick riding, and other neat things w/ horses), and its really fun. They have little workbooks that you can do, and you often learn more about horses when you do them. Some of them you have to have horses to complete, but there is a series of worbooks called Horseless Rider that you could do… Its a really fun club in general…
Oct 15, 2004 at 12:00 #473830I’m interested to see what this stable you ride at is like. I’ll look at the site…
Oct 15, 2004 at 12:00 #473231I’ve never played any of the SIM games. But I hear about that horse SIM game alot from you.. .so maybe I should give it a try….
Oct 15, 2004 at 12:00 #473889Yeah.. the want that you feel for getting a horse is really hard sometimes. But you eventually get used to it…. though you’ll never get over it till you get a horse….
Oct 15, 2004 at 12:00 #473328I still prefer longe-lining over lunging (even though I’ve only lunged and never longe-lined ::) )
Oct 15, 2004 at 12:00 #473283I don’t really know the story, but my friend had some obsession with it in 7th grade, so I know I tiny bit about it. All I know is that there is supposedly some huge swimming dinosaur looking creature in some lake. (it is super super super super huge). Peopel have supposedly "seen it before" but who knows…
