Coat Type, Color & Grooming:
May be one
of three distinct color patterns:
Ruddy: Orange-brown fur, ticked
with dark brown or black; ears and tail
are tipped with black; underside of body
and inside legs are orange-brown or burnt
sienna, without ticking; nose is tile red;
paw pads are black or brown.
Red: Reddish fur, ticked with
chocolate brown; ears and tail are tipped
with chocolate brown; nose and paw pads
are pink.
Blue: Blue-gray fur, ticked with
various shades of slate blue; ears and
tail tipped with slate-blue; underside of
body and inside forelegs are soft cream to
beige; nose is dark pink; paw pads are
mauve.
Physical Attributes:
Medium sized; firm, muscular, well-balanced body; slightly rounded, wedge-shaped head with large ears and large, almond-shaped eyes; fairly long tail; soft, silky coat.
Personality:
Active and affectionate; prefers larger, open spaces; gets along with dogs; likes water and heights.
