Does anyone ever notice that their rabbits eat less in the spring and summer? My 3 rabbits get pretty large salads everyday, and where I usually can’t find a scrap left, they’re leaving about 20% of the salad. They’re eating timothy, brome & orchard grass hays as well. They’re still eating well, droppings look normal, and they’re not acting any differently. They’re just eating less. I’m not concerned about their health or anything….was just wondering if anyone else noticed this.

maybe this is to do with their wild instinct e.g. if the rabbits were in the wild in winter they would have to eat more to keep warm annd in the spring/summer they wouldn’t ??
