VINTAGE URANIUM GLASS FISH BOWL & HOUZE AGATE & METAL STAND, VERY RARE:

This is an amazing and VERY, VERY RARE,Uranium Glass, 7" Fish Bowl / Aquarium, on an Art Deco period, HOUZE, Agate and metal/cast metal stand, with flower shaped decor and ornate feet and disc on the base.The base itself weighs over 4.5 pounds.
The agate base was made by Houze.
The uranium glass fishbowl has a glob of putty placed on the bottom, so as to NOT break the glass by the old metal piece that sticks up, where the base was once wired as a lamp, as Houze was a maker of lamps. This can still be wired for a lamp by having the wiring come out and using a brace arm attached (see last pic for example of one I found like this) so it clears the area of the back of the bowl,where a lightbulb would then sit and illuminate the fish bowl from the back and would look amazing, especially using a UV bulb!
This would make a gorgeous showpiece for any serious collector of Agate and/or Uranium Glass!!
It measures 13.0" high in total.The fish bowl itself is 7.0" long, 4.5" wide and 7.0" high.Stand alone is 9.0" high, 7.9" long and 4.58" wide, and the round bottom base is 6.0" in diameter.
These do not come along often, especially with the uranium glass fish bowl, which in itself, at this size, is very rare!!
This will ship in TWO separate boxes, to better protect the fish bowl from the weight of the stand! (which is why the shipping will show higher)
It is all in wonderful condition!!!
