i just had obidience classes about jumping this past weekend and the trainer trained a pup in a minute. she simply walked up to the dog and the dog jumped on her and she quickly turned away and would say "nope! turn around" (refering to us) then went back to the pup and the pup jumped again and she said the same thing for about three times and at the fourth time she walked up to the pup and the pup sat down and she gave the pup some vocal love and a treat. good luck!
