I need help, i have taken my 3 mo. old kitten to the vet for her first exam. at the time i told the vet that she sneezes all the time and he gave me amox. to give her for 10 days. that cleared her nose up however, she still sneezes. now she has runny eyes and her nose is congested again. the vet advised me that she could have a type of viral infection and that she may just have to live with it b/c it was rarely curable. Does anyone know if this is true or should i get a second opinion? ???

Just like humans, cats can get viruses. Viruses do not respond to antibiotics and it is true that they just have to run their course. My concern is that you said the antibiotics did seem to help a little. Also like people, animals can respond better to some medicines than others. If the problem does not clear up in about a week, I would get a second opinion.
