I saw a cormorants nest about 25 meters from a lake. I’m sure it was a cormorant because it was sitting on the nest and made noises at me when I came near it had 3 eggs but it got up then craked and ate one then the other one came and I left. So I waned to know if I intervene (I have looked after many wild chicks with advice from wildlife agency’s and all have survived so please no info on giving it to a wildlife agency because I know all of that). How do I look after a cormorant and are they legal in the UK?
