Well at least he’s getting one of the babies. I dont think I’m quite ready to give the babies away :- It’s going to be hard, but I’ll have to learn, I cant keep all of them, sometimes I’m just going to have to learn to let go :'( I love bunnies with floppy ears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How cute! You are SOOO lucky. lol, I cant find anyone with a bunny to breed Hercules with that is big enough. I dont know anyone with rabbits:(

No, I believe the cat ate TWO of the bunnies. I love animals, but I’m seriously about to kill this wild cat. It kills my squirells that I feed, the bunnies, the cute little birds, and even though I’m glad it does, but mice also. I’m ok with the mice, and also the birds, but not all the other things it kills. I only have five babies left out of seven. I treasure the ones that I have now though. I even take them to the softball games to get use to me and other people and noises. It works great! How are your babies doing? Dont you have to get rid of them now? :- :'(

Well, if you like a challenge and kinda a high spirited horse, pick the arabian. Their gates are REALLY smooth and they can go really long distances without getting tired. Quarter horses are better barral racers, and can go faster than an arabian for a quarter of a mile, any further and the arabian would lap him up. I love to go fast and I love the arabians gaits, I would probally pick the arabian over the QH, buts that me.

Every time the strays go into Sherman’s yard, I go in their and chase them out. I never touch them of course, or anger them. All I have to do is walk in there and they jump the fence and head down the road. I mainly do it because the dogs are WAY to close to my bunny! lol, love her more than anything, and besides, she also has babies. I watch her constantly when I put her out because of dogs. knowone ever walks Sherman any more anyway. We dont trust him. They REALLY need to start off with a calm, tustworthy, possibly older dog. Maybe from the shelter. I think that would be a good idea, starting over.

Lol, Bob and Squarepants? Thats so Cute! lol, I also named one Muffin ( I told my friend she can take care of that one since she has never owned a pet before ) and I also named one Pegasus, just to keep the greek names going in the rabbit family. I just got back inside, I accidently didn’t see one of the kits, and kind of stepped on it :-[ Not all the way though. I felt it and picked it up right away. It stayed still for a second and then started hopping around again.

I think I it would be 100% safer if walked the dog. I know more about him then the owners, and I am also stronger. I can hold him back easily, I make sure of it. lol, I love animals wnough to take ANY chances. Being mauled, been there, done that. lol, It wasin’t a fun experience, but I learned from it! There’s new things to learn about thoughs fasinating, furry things every day. The owners just put up a big fence today, it’s Way bigger than six feet! lol, it’s pretty cool. The weird thing is, every stray dog that has come by, pitbulls, agressive labs, they all jump the fence into Shermans yard! Can you explain that! All they do is play when they do! It’s pretty fasinating. Oh, and thanks for the sites

I’m asking this question because I am trying to help the owner OUT by giving them some advice, I cant just say avoid your won dog! If the dog got out, I would get him, I am the only one he trusts, and will come to without a struggle or fight. I use to train him, I just gave up after he put a BIG ugly scratch down my face. And when my friend was going to pet him, you dont actually have to hang over the fence to get to him, he is so tall he’s just RIGHT there. I saw his expression when he was about to bite my friend, he stopped for a second, I was going to pull my friend away, but he tried to get her. I use to try to take him on walks, the first person he saw was a man in his own yard, and I had tro hold him back.

Ya, I told my grandma if she does it again, take her to the vet. I’, 100% sure she knows when she has to go to the bathroom, or where. She has a doggy door she uses and we never have to let her out to go. She does when she has to.

Thanks! I’ll try that, Hercules is going crazy!! Today after school, I came to Hercules’s cage and saw a kit out of the nest, just eating and eating. Hercules doesn’t have enough room to get away from them right now, so it was an all eat bafay. I picked it up and it was SOOOOOOO fat. lol, I named it Waffles. ::)

Some rabbits make their nests that night, or when there having there babies. Thats what mine did, also my neighbors rabbit. Once they have had more experience, then the next time theyt have a litter, they will make the next about one or two weeks before.

Thanks, I decided to wait till Monday to touch them, but why would the mother take it out herself? To abonden it? I’m pretty sure she fed them last night so I dont think I have to worry anymore, she’s a good mommy. lol, the baby that I put back in the nest moves around all the time. It’s really fistey, there so cute, I just cant wait to count them!

Sorry if my last post sounded a little harsh, I have just been stressed out about MY rabbit Hercules giving birth for the first time and she just had them today! This is my first batch and there all black, the mother is white. I love them already! What I’m doing is I’m going to put a add in the newspaper a week before easter and my neighbor said they go really fast 🙂
