White cats with blue eyes have a tendancy of being deaf. You see that quite often. But that doesn’t mean that ALL cats with blue eyes are deaf. Cats react clearly to sounds so I’m sure that will not be too difficult to determine if he’s deaf or not πŸ™‚
    Good luck

Don’t worry… this behavior is totally normal. 2 males, dominance thing. Let them do their stuff…. It’s their way to understand eachother and learning to live with eachother.

    Ur welcome πŸ™‚
The best way to give tablets to a cat is to open his mouth and put the pill as far as you can in her throat. She’s gonna have no choice to swallow it. I have a cat shelter, 28 at the moment :)… I’m used to this. with one hand, put your fingers on each side of the jaw(your hand on top of head), with one finger of the other hand open the mouth and put the pill in… take some practice but I’m sure you can do it πŸ™‚
Good luck with your cat, great to hear that she’s doing better πŸ™‚ If you have any questions along the way, feel free to ask.

One of my cats was attacked by a dog…. Suffered a broken jaw, broken teeth and he was really in a bad shape… He went through surgery, took a long time to recover but he’s doing just fine now πŸ™‚ Like nothing had ever happened. I have dogs myself and my cat loves them…
I believe that your cat will do just fine in time and will forget all about that πŸ™‚
    Good luck

Don’t be so hard on yourself… but I know how you feel, a similar thing happened to me, and I felt really awful and couldn’t forgive myself for a long time. I was unexperienced and didn’t see the clinical signs until it was too late..But we learn from it πŸ™‚ I saved many cats after that from diseases. We become much more aware.
At 14 years old, your cat was quite old. Sudden loss of weight is generally not a good sign. He was probably very ill and had pain. You did the right thing. Since he had ticks on him, ticks carry the Lyme disease. Old cats often get diabetes and kidney failure. Diabetes at this age is very hard to get stable. And with kidney failure, there’s nothing much you can do about it. I have a cat shelter, I have 28 cats right now, believe me, I’ve seen every disease there is.
Forgive yourself. Your cat is in a much better place now πŸ™‚ I’m sure you did care for that cat all of those years and he was lucky to have you in his life.
    Take care

first of all, I want to say that I’m so sorry for your loss:( I know how you feel. In 2008, I lost 2 dogs from cancer, one was only 2 years old. My animals are my life…I had a real hard time dealing with this. And recently I lost one of my cats from brain tumor, the first one I got, he was a very special little one πŸ™‚ I got a tattoo for him too πŸ˜‰
I wish you the best, Jazz is still around to protect you. When it comes to unconditional love, pets are masters in that area πŸ™‚ and it goes beyond death.
Here’s a little poem for you.
    Beyond The Rainbow
As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
    I saw a wondrous image then of a place that’s trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.
I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful — lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I’m alright
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
‘Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we’re never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart

Hummm tricky one lol… Cats are their own master πŸ™‚
Do you know the reason for this waking up thing? Hungry? bored? wanting attention?
Since closing the bedroom door isn’t an option, do you have any room with a door? bathroom? If he’s comfortable spending the night in it, with his litter box, some toys and a nice cushion, that might be an option. But cats can be very stubborn…
There some mats on the market that prevent cats to jump on counter tops, furniture, e.t.c… maybe this could help. Here’s a link for that mat >>

Looks like your has Cheyletiellosis(walking dandruff mites). Cheyletiellosis is an itchy, scaling skin disease of cats caused by infestation with Cheyletiella mites. Causing itching, hair loss, redness, scars…
There are various treatments that are available for dealing with cheyletiellosis in cats. One drug that is used to tackle mite infestation more generally is Ivermectin, which can be given orally or through injection.
You have to seek a vet.

Don’t worry, she won’t get sick from a dewormer πŸ™‚ Just be sure to have the right dosage and everything will be fine. Some type of dewormer, you have to repeat in 14 days since they don’t kill the eggs… worms lay eggs… the second dosage is to kill the worms who has been is those eggs.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

    Hello πŸ™‚
Your dog is quite young… maybe soft food fot just a little while might be better… a mix it with small bites dry food.
If she hasn’t been dewormed I suggest you do so… the mother’s milk give worms to all puppies. That might be the cause of her butt dragging. Or, maybe she’s just trying to empty her anal glands. Dogs have two small glands in the anal area. Those glands become full with a liquid. this liquid is usually expelled when they poop, but sometimes the dog has more difficulties emptying them. I’m a pet groomer and I have to empty anal glands often lol… When her anal glands are full, you will feel 2 bumps each side of the rectal opening… If you can’t do it yourself, a pet groomer can. You don’t have to go to the vet for that. In a more serious case, if the liquid stay too long in the anal glands, she can develop an infection. You’ll have too seek a vet for that. But is treatable quickly.
Hope this will help a little πŸ™‚
    Good luck!

    How old is your dog?
Sometimes, tartar and plaque build-up causes bad breath. The vet can clean your dog’s teeths. Another cause of bad breath is the difficulty to digest food. The problem is in the stomach. You can find some food at your vet that is easy to digest and gentle to the stomach.
Hope this help a bit πŸ™‚
