My JRT is going to be a mommy in about 5 days (or tomarrow since I have to be out of town). This was an oops breeding. But she and the male are 3years and both are registered. I have taken her to the vet and it looks like two thank goodness. My question is what should I do for Macy after she has them. Is there some special food for mommy dog’s? I have never had a dog have puppies and since they are both registered I want her to be well taken care of. Also when is a good time to start working with the puppies. Macy is an excellent hunter and so is the stud but I dont want to start the puppies off too early. I want them to be healthy. I am keeping one and so is the dad’s family, so I dont have to worry about adoption families not being able to handle the dog’s. Ill take any advice on JRT and pregnancy and birth. Thanks
