Hi I’m MaximusMom and I have a 6 month old pup, he’s mixed with something but the jury is still out on what, he’s rumored to be a chow pit mix but we see a lot of lab in him too.

welcome! WHen I replied to your last post, I thought we were dealing with a purebred lab. I think if there’s chow in him, and he’s 6 months old, you need to sort out his behavior as quickly as possible. Chows are infamous for problems with pack positioning and fighting for the alpha role so even if he respects your topdog position you need to start working with towards him knowing he is bottom of the pack. Does that make sense?
