I just realized that my dad creates "tape rulers" (tape taped together and long enough for my dad to hold it) or usues long enough pieces of plastic so he can hold it, and he lets my oldest cat chew it. I’ve asked the local vet but they didn’t really seem to care, they said as long as he doesn’t swallow it, it’s fine. They said his teeth and gums were healthy so there was no worry. But I could tell they didn’t care too much. So, is it REALLY okay to let my cat chew plastic or "tape rulers" as long as he doesn’t swallow them?
