Hello,
My awesome senior dog, Daisy, and I are new to the forum. She is a basenji-mix, just over 16 years old. I have had her for 14 of those years. I am looking at relocating to a new residence in a couple of months but am really worried about having her acclimate to a new home. She has moved lots of times in the past but she is now blind in her left eye and really hard of hearing. She has some other health issues as well. Her wonderful vet believes that Daisy is gearing up for the last months of her life (not sure how long, 3 months, 6 months, longer, shorter??) and I’m concerned about moving her. She knows our current residence well as we have lived her for over a year. Any advice? Part of me really feels like we should stay in our current residence as she knows it well and is comfortable here…..but if I do move, any advice on acclimating her? Thanks in advance. Daisy and Anna
