Every night when my hedgehog runs on his wheel,he also poops on it too. It is really gross to clean it out every day. He also gets it in his feet. What should I do.
There really isn’t much you can do to avoid this. Hamsters are the same in their wheels. Wire wheels that can let droppings pass through are very bad for their feet and can cause amputation if they get stuck. While it’s a gross task, it comes with the territory!
