Coat Type, Color & Grooming:
The most common pattern is tri-colored, called mi-ke in Japanese and made up of orange, black and white. Bi-colored patterns of black and white or orange and white, or solid coats of any of the three colors, are also possible. Nose and paw pad colors usually correspond to predominant coat color.
Physical Attributes:
Medium to large in size; bobbed tail may be a solid stub or may have kinks; lean, muscular body; triangular head with high cheekbones, slanted eyes, and large, upright ears; hind legs longer than front legs; silky, medium-length coat.
Personality:
Affectionate and sweet-tempered; agile; talkative; enjoys water.
