I don’t know if I already posted on this thread but if I did my pet list is probably very different.Aug 5, 2007 at 3:08 #490756If her head is tilted it means she has an ear infection. My rat had one and so did my gerbil once. You should take her to the vet for some meds. How often do you give her a bath?
Aug 4, 2007 at 8:58 #490766Well I dont really think there is anything you can do to stop him from purring. You might have to lock him in a different room so you can sleep. If you really want to stop it an animal behaviorist or vet might know what to do.
Aug 4, 2007 at 8:54 #493992Is she an outdoor cat?
Aug 4, 2007 at 7:00 #483574Calm down. Your rat isnt gay. Its a dominance thing. My gerbil used to do it all the time. As long as they dont start fighting there is nothing to worry about.
Aug 4, 2007 at 6:58 #483580Guinea Pigs should first be bred between 3 and 7 months so you may or may not have complications. Good Luck with her I hope everything goes ok =).
Jun 11, 2007 at 5:35 #483329Since he had no fear he might of been a run away pet mouse. My cat attacked a mouse that was running around the house once. She had a big wound on her back and probably a few broken ribs. She died after a few days =(. The mouse you had was probably going to die so there wasn’t anything you could do.
Jun 11, 2007 at 5:23 #483376You can put a water bottle with frozen water in the cage with a wash cloth over it.
Jun 11, 2007 at 5:19 #483378Hamsters do weird things all the time. Its part of their personality to do stupid funny things. My hamster Starry walks on the ceiling of her cage. My other hamster Dixie runs on top of his wheel. They’re insane.
Jun 11, 2007 at 5:15 #483374You can get them but I would recommend getting a pet sitter to check there food and water or you could get a friend to do it. I would only get a friend that loves animals and would not forget about them or something.
Jun 11, 2007 at 5:09 #476483Awww! Thats cute! How big is he?
Jun 11, 2007 at 5:06 #476498If you are serious about getting a reptile a leopard gecko is a good start. They can’t climb walls. They are also easy to care for.
Apr 11, 2007 at 2:32 #427954Thanks guys! I gues it would be easier to start with a just hachted bird than with an egg that might not be fertile.
Apr 11, 2007 at 4:02 #490163I love cats the most.
Apr 11, 2007 at 4:00 #483043I wouldn’t get another gerbil. I wouldn’t believe that he would die sooner without companionship. Gerbils can be hard to introduce and its hard to keep peace. I had 2 gerbils that were sisters that got along fine for months then one day they just started fighting. They both got hurt bad. One died from an infection a few weeks later and I still have the other sister who is fine by herself. So its kinda dangerous to introduce them. Heres a link with good info on gerbils:
