i agree the dog should have been put to sleep. i know with my dogs that i have had and with other peoples puppies. i make it a point to bug them while they are eating, shoving my hands in their face and takeing the food away. There is no reason for a healthy dog to have food aggression. and like one other person said food aggression in some dogs can lead to other types of agression. it is sad that because the dog was neglected and starved he became food aggressive but it is not worth the risk of harming a petential owner trying to do the right thing and save a dog from the shelter. and for me to say that is alot because animals come before humans in my book.
