i agree the dog should have been put to sleep. i know with my dogs that i have had and with other peoples puppies. i make it a point to bug them while they are eating, shoving my hands in their face and takeing the food away. There is no reason for a healthy dog to have food aggression. and like one other person said food aggression in some dogs can lead to other types of agression. it is sad that because the dog was neglected and starved he became food aggressive but it is not worth the risk of harming a petential owner trying to do the right thing and save a dog from the shelter. and for me to say that is alot because animals come before humans in my book.

i own both a hamster and a rat. hamsters who are socialized are great pets just as good a rats. i have had many hamsters that bite in the past for the fact that they to need love and not to many people take in aggressive hamsters. wear gloves. he/she will learn that no matter how much it bites its not going to work. also make sure you do not have other animals sents on your hands. good luck.

rats can only be housed with other rats. they are very aggressive when it comes to other rodents.

its not the point that she exspressed her opinion. some people just dont like rats thats ok. its the fact that she comes on here saying that because it didnt work out she is going to feed them to a hungry snake. in my opinion she shouldnt own any animals. if she has that attitude with this wuts to say if her ferret goes bad wut she will do to it. and soo on.

do not cut down on your rats food. make sure the dish is full at all times. rats are not like people they do not understand why their food is being cut down. just let him/her out and active and stuff. and if he/she still does not lose weight then you have yourself a fat rat and there is nothing wrong with that. just means he/she is well takein care of.
