Thank you for your cancern and reply. I have tried a 50/50 mix with the urinary food and the food that they are used to and so far they have not noticed the difference. Eventually I wil get them down to 100% urinary food. I do give them a little wet food everyday or almost every day. I also question the brand of litter that I am using. First when this all started that week I switched to a cedar litter. it smelled like fresh cedar. It worked to cover up the smell, but this all started happening. So I switched back to the tidy cat crystal blend. You don’t think that the crystals in the litter could be giving him crystals in his bladded, or making him more prone to get them. Probably not but I thought that it was worth a try.

We all have our own way of doing things and I am trying not to be judgemental, but I agree, why on earth would a walmart bag be left out, home or not! That is a disaster waiting to happen. Especially with courious cats on the loose. You just never know! I do understand where she is coming from though, you just never know what they will get into, and to have a piece of mind for yourself it would be wise to have someone peek in on them. I really like the idea of the nanny cam! Where can you get one, are they expensive, do you place it on your pet?

I understand about trying to save the money. I am not a rabbit person, I have never owned one, but from everyon else responces it sounds like she will be fine, that is just how she is and if it is broken there is nothing that can be done anyways. I would say save your money unless the situation changes.

I am so gllad to hear tha I am not the only one with similar problems. I have 2 cats and Milo my older one will cry and cry and cry and cry and Oliver the kitten will jump on me with persistance. He will rub his face on mine and on my hands like pet me please pet me. The whole time purring and purring and purring. I try to lay very still night after night as to show them that their plan did not work, but I think that it just makes them work harder. Then as soon as I get up groggy for work both of them are soundly sleeping in my bed! Do you think this is their plan? Stinkers! I have tried everything, I feed them before I go to bed, I leave the blinds open ( then am waken up by the sunlight), Tried locking them out of my room, that lasted 5 min. Milo realized how to open doors and cried until he did open the door. I know that they don’t get to see me all day while I am at work and probably sleep most of the time and then want to play with me when I am sleeping because they are not tired any more. When are they going to realize that I need sleep, Will the craziness ever end???????

Just out of couriosity, how much is a vet office visit in California? I am from Indiana and they are around $35.00 just for the office visit and then the cost of the meds or treatments. Once I paid over $100.00 for a cut on my cats paw that I could have treated at home. So like I said your post just brought up the question of how much it costs to take your pet to the vet in Califoirnia? Not tryong to bash you in any way!

Coconut is a very cute name! Yes Milo loves to sleep on his back and the baby I have not seen him do this yet. He might just not realize how to do it yet. I’m sure he will. The kitten wakes me up every night. Last night it was 3 times and he finds my hand and rubs his head on it. He needs a petting that bad, he just purrs ans purrs. It is funny and cute but sometimes it is annoying when I am super tired. Do you shave your cat? Both of mine get a lion cut. It helps on the shedding and fur balls with them and it looks so freakin cute. Milo is in my picture with his haircut. I got Olivers haircut for the first time about a month ago and I have never seen anything so cute before. The groomer was even like he is so cute.

a cat with orange tips is called a flame point. Just so you know. Milo was definatly the alpha cat. And he never was around another cat ever before I got the kitten. When I brought the kitten home he grawled , hissed, spit, everything. I had to lock the kitten in the bathroom while I was at work and Milo would hiss at me when I would come home becasue he knew that I was going to let him out. I think what really started the relationship between the two of them was the kitten becasue he was so used to being around other cats. He just was very persistant. And then when Milo realized that Oliver was not going to hurt him and he would still have plenty of food he started to come around. Every day a little more. Now the kitten is the alpha I think. Just give it time. At first you will think that there is no possible way that it will work and then just one day it will. Let the transition be as slow as they need be. Keep them seperate at first. They won’t hurt eachother but you never know. It will all be worth it in the end. Do you have a pic of your furbaby? What is his name?

That is funny! My first one is 1.5 too! My kitten follows his every move, so he tries to talk but it is a little kitten voice. They really are the best cats arn’t they? What point color do you have. Milo (1.5) is a blue point and Oliver ( kitten) is a seal point. They are actually brothers. I contacted the breeder that I got Milo from and his mother was having a litter of kittens. It worked out really well. Last week Oliver went and got nuetered and had to stay the night. Milo was going crazy looking for him, he wouldn’t even eat his food. He ran up to the cage and licked him when Oliver got home the next day. They truely are best friend. I have no regreats getting the second one at all. It took 3 days to get them to like each other. I talked to the vet and he said that it would take 3 weeks, but only 3 days for them. I was so happy!

Hello I have 2 himalayan cats and am convinced that they are the most human like breed of cats. They are very lovable and love human attention. Up until just recently I only had one and I have been on several vacations. I felt terrible every time but he was ok and really happy to see me. They are very adaptable. Maybe you should look into getting another one. The transition of that was very good too! Now they can’t be seperated for very long at all. I have a question for you, I don’t know if you have a male or female, I don’t know if the gender has anything to with this or not. I have 2 males and the older one is very verbal. Especially at night he loves to be heard. Is this the case with your cat.
