hi i agree to a point, that pets are just like children and you should have enough to give them all they need and the best there is.it makes for a happy healthy pet ,together with plenty of love and care and the propper grooming .i have 17 persiaN CATS ,AND CAN AffORD THEM WITHOUT WONDERING WHAT I SPEND.MY CATS ARE MY CHILDREN AND COME FIRST!!!but we also breed selectively and i only let qualyfied carefully screened parents adopt my kittens.-though still they dont always have a huge moneybag tied to them, the way they care for the kittens and love them is as important as purchasing all the luxuries.i allow paymentplans.these people might payy off,but are willing to sacrifice to get the best and i have seen many of them make that special trip to the vet without question.once you love your pet ,you will do whats needed.its in the heart of the pet parent, not how much money, but heat do they have.

hi i have 17 persian cats
no,i am not a hoarder or one of those irresponsible breeders-though i do breed each queen once per year.my comment though is that no-i dont OWN my animals, they are my "kids",and you don’t own your children.more ,i am their guardian and look after their every need-but never do i own them -.i also dont sell my kittens-its called adoption fee.
i have sought out also unique and meaningful names for them.the boys are: maurice (after maurice chevallier, the french singer),shooshoo, picasso(Painter),ramesses(egyptian pharao),karisma, xerxes (king of persia)and coney(since he had a little bump on his head when he was born ,making his hair stand up like the cone heads)
my girls:princess(she has a 5 generation champion bloodline and acts the part),Aida(opera from verdi)
Mogli(from the djungle book,i first thought she was a boy ,but kept the name)lana(short for svetlana,a nice russian name)niobe (greek goddess, who lost her 12 children because of bragging)leto(greek goddess, whose son and daughter killed niobe’s 12 children)nefer(egyptian =beautiful),larissa, phoebe

    well you found ME!!!
my boyfriend and i live in the bahamas and are called CATMAN and CAT WOMAN .its also on my car-which is called the CATMOBILE!!we have 17 persian cats and consider them our children.they eat before we do,many sleep in our bed-we arrange ourselves around them as not to disturb them.we live for the cat -kids!!!!!we bathe them ,share our sushi with them ,know each meow and even if one has a hairball ,often my boyfriend might say :oh honey i think this was NEFER—or NIOBE–.we also breed on occasion and lovingly deliver each kitten.i then sleep usually on the floor half in the box, when the mother is a day or so away from delivery ,so i wont miss it.we hand feed each kitten and are up often every 2-3 hrs to check on them. the only friends we have, are people with cats, since we dont understand anyone not liking cats.-several of our older cats are rescued from neglective breeders or crowded shelters.each cat has his or her story and unique personality.we’d rather not go on vaccation ,than not have our kids.

it looks like cats are addicted to plastic.we have 17 persians and they lack for nothing, but they go crazy over any kind of plastic.they lick it and chew it with a ralish ,thats unreal.i always wondered whats the attraction-but nobody has ever in all my 30 cat -parenting -years ,gotten sick.so keep it away but dont worry.

3 weeks is kind of late, have you tried to just put a cotton ball soaked in very warm water -squeezed out- and then gently pressed on the kittens eye.my vet gave me this advice ,when i had a 4 day old kitten that had an eye infection under the lid and the eye was swollen with puss but could not open.the worm wetness opened the eyelid .its gentle and workes well.by now your kitten needs to see where its going.
