What breed of dog do you have? Dogs can have from 1-15 puppies depending on the breed. My Rotty girl had 14 and raised every one of them . Yes we came upon a food regimen for her and the babies when they were old enough. My Golden girl just had 11. Gestation for a dog is 58-65 days. Give or take a day. Good morning. You don’t say what breed or breeds your puppy is. Yes that does make a difference. If you are going to introduce a new member to your family I would do as soon as possible. I have found dogs tend to bond better when introduced early. However Henry will remain a little more independent then your new one for a while. I have a Golden [Charmin] that I got for a companion for my older Rotty. My baby girl rotty died very unexpectedly only 1 week later. It took me over a year before I could bring myself to getting another rotty, & really I didn’t, my husband did. It took me a while to even like her. But she is so bonded with Charmin she has snuck into my heart. Good Luck
Hi. I have akc golden due to deliver any day, akc rotty, 2 cows due to calve, 2 bunnies, due to deliver, 17 buff hens, 1 buff rooster, 10 pair of fancy banties. Everything is wanting to reproduce for some odd reason. 1 turtle, Lisa, 1 goldfish, Fred. Someplace in this crazy place there is a husband. A Very understanding Husband.

I know this sounds crazy but we had one that we rescued that was the same way. My husband got him to come around with hot dogs. Took a few times but worked surprisingly well. Good Luck
boocharTry a medium size stuff toy for her to play with and pack around. That worked with my rotty when we had to make a major move. Just make sure it does NOT have a sqeaker in it. boochar
