Thanks for the input. I will bring her in at night and keep her in the kitchen area. She is very much a part of my family. She was an inside dog until recently because the house we now live in is small. That’s the only reason she is outside.

;D I wanted to ask you to please consider the boxer as a companion for your family. I’m not an expert on the breed but do own one and she is the best dog. She is wonderful with my 3 and9 year old kids and my small Maltese. They are great family dogs while at the same time very good watchdogs. Very little grooming, playful, and smart are just a few positives for this breed. Check it out.
