I feel a bit ashamed that I didn’t know he had his own line of food. I was aware of his collars and such but hadn’t heard of this until today. Does anyone use this (the dry food) and any thoughts?

He is not a canine nutritionist. So no i would not recommend it. Good dog food is one that is holistic has no corn or no filers. First ingredient should ALWAYS be a meat product. Not "Meat meal" But chicken or beef or turkey etc.
Some good quality foods are :
    Canidae $44 for a 40 pound bag
    Wellness – $28 for a 15 pound bag
    Wellness CORE
    Solid Gold
Taste of the Wild – $25 for a 15 pound bag
    Innova
    Eagle pack Holistic
Chicken Soup for the dog Lovers Soul
    Orijen
    EVO
    Merrick $12 for a 5 pound bag
    Blue Buffalo
    Avoderm
Never get low quality foods like :
    Cesar
    Ol’ Roy
    Purina
    Pedigree
    IAMS
    Eukanuba
    Science Diet
    BilJac
    Beneful
    Purina Dog Chow
    Alpo
    Nutro
    Dad’s
    Royal Canin
    Kibbles ‘n Bits
    Mighty Dog
    Or ANY grocery Store brand
