Seeing all of these forums describing taking your bunn to the vet….does a rabbit have to go to the vet? do they NEED any shots or anything like that? Any advice, because this is my first rabbit so i dont know what is normal to do or anything

You probably see so many posts about taking a rabbit to the vet on here because so many people ask questions when their rabbits aren’t acting normally. They don’t need any shots EVER. They do, however, need to be spayed/neutered. Barring any health problems/sickness, they should be checked out every year or so, especially for their teeth. They can grow in uneven and cause a lot of pain, and the rabbit to not eat properly.
