I’m sorry I’m a bit late in posting this, but
for those of you who may live in Pennsylvannia and own Nanday Conures please be aware that The Pennsylvannia game commission is planning to ban Nanday conures.
Their meeting is scheduled for Jan 27th thru the 29th.
If you wish to attend the meeting be professional and stick to the issues.
1. they think and are charged with Keeping wildlife safe.
2. keeping wildlife from threatening human life.
Please be aware that if you own a nanday and this law passes your pet nanday is NOT grandfathered in.
All responses, letters, and emails, needs to be in prior to the 27th.
As for speaking at the meeting this is what I know.
1. individuals get 3 minutes to speak
2. If you represent an organization you get 5 minutes.
believe me, I do not think or belieeve for a single minute that Nandays pose any threat to either.
Much is being cross posted into other forums as well.
lets pray for our nandays.
Truth is, if this passes the law could have every right to take your nanday and euthanize it.
So if you live in pennsylvania, make sure they know what you know about Nandays back it up with facts and figures.
they will not be listening to emotionally charged, why you can’t ban nandays.
so please be professional and curtious.
