:-/ ive decided to use anest box, but the hutch that ive got has an upstairs and downstairs so i am asking ;Dwether i should i put the nest box up or down? ……..(up stairs there is the panic that when the babies venture from the nest that they will fall down the stairs but also if they are down stairs im worried of the light shining on them. 😮 PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!! :-/ ::) 🙂
I would definately put it down stairs. In my experience as a rabbit breeder ( 16 years) the doe will sometimes move the box around to where she wants it. If she does this and the nest box is on the upstair the nest box could fall with babies in it.
;D I think you should put them on the second floor! If the light if too hot or bright only turn it on at night 8-8 ! ;D
