hi im 14 and i wanna be a vet and i was wondering does anybody know what will give me an advantage in achieving i this profession as i already help out at my local farm on most weekends and am doing the duke of edinburgh award and i want to know what else will help me
thanxwhen you are old enough, volunteer at your rspca or what ever shelter you have there. over here vets often allow volunteers too.
The vets near me you only have to be 14 to work there helping out with the kennels etc….and you could eventually work your way up to being able to observe some procedures. Also, some humane societies allow you to observe spaying and neuterings n such if you volunteer there. good luck, i want to be a vet too!
