i have had my lionhead rabbit since january 13th and have been trying to get it litter box trained. when i let it out (in my room) and watch it, it can be out for long periods of time without making messes and when it does i put it back in it’s cage (in the litter box). now at first it used the litter box in it’s cage mostly and left one or two other messes here and there. but now it seems that it goes where ever it pleases in it’s cage, sometimes catching it’s droppings in the litterbox but for the most part it is pretty sporadic…….. have i given my rabbit too much freedom too fast? and another quick question: is it good to use different bedding for the litter box? i use carefresh as the bedding and then compressed wood pellets for the litterbox…
