that was not the right site so i looked up poodles and epilepsy is one of the things they are predisposed to.but they can be put on medication for it like i said earlier.again good-luck.
well when i was young we had 2 poodles at different times and both had epilepsy 1 also had a heart murrmur.by fits do you mean seziures?if so your vet can probably give meds to controll the problem.look up http://www.doginfo.com look at poodles see if they are pre disposed to epilepsy or if mine were out of the ordinary.good-luck kyena’s mom
Hi i am a new member from the u.k. my pet is a miniture poodle name of rosie.Rosie has had two fits not lasting more than 2mins after she is just fine can anybody tell me if poodles are porne to fits.Thanks, John.
hi john,the site is actually http://www.dogbreedinfo.com.i would get a second opinion my poodle had a whole in her heart or a murrmer not sure i was young but i noticed poodles also have heart problems.ask a new vet for a full check-up.i wish you many many years with your little one.kyena’s mom.
Hi Kyena’s mom.thanks for your reply yes i do think my poodle has epilepsy but my vet thinks not they think it was just a one off thing but she has had two ?? but up to now we have had no more problems fingers crossed.
