my dad brought home a new cat yesterday from a friend. I have a German shepherd dog at home and i was wondering, How do i introduce them without a fight? My dog is at my Moms house and the Cat is at my Dads. When i go over my dog needs to come. Thanx!! ;D

do you have a cage for your dog, or could you borrow one? if yes, then put the dog in the cage and let the cat approach in its own time. It will be a lot less stressful – the cat won’t feel restrained – and the dog won’t be able to chase the cat. chances are if this happens once, it could easily become part of the dog’s behaviour, and believe me, it’s hell to train out!
Ya. well, i was thinkin to put the cat in the cade and let Tess get use to it. Tess is NOT TERITORIAL and i havent used that cage for about 2 years. 8)
