I got four free goldfishs yesterday in a small bowl. Two of them died a day later. Then I changed the water in the bowl. I fed them goldfish flakes. I bought a new tank with a new filter and thermometer. New gravel floor. I put in water conditioner and a decoration place to hide in. Yes, I rinsed all of them. I did set all of it up. The paper said to wait 24 hours before putting fish in. If it’s time to be ready, should I cycle the new tank?
I’m worried if they’re going to die tomorrow. I researched and it turns out my fishes are rosy red minnows. They’re still in the small bowl. I want to put them in the new tank immediately but I’m trying to be patient and still worried.
