My horse has a club foot on his right front leg. He is 6 years old and was born with that birth defect. I have been told that if I jump him I would be running the rish of making him lame if he would land the wrong way if I would take up jumping with him. Is this true?
It is very difficult to give a positive peace of advice without seeing the extent of club foot,but I can say that one of the best Hunter/Jumpers I ever rode had a fairly bad club foot which seemed to give it NO trouble whatsoever but I think the last word should come from your veterinarian
