My guinea pig has bald spots on her back. Only about 3-4 though. I don’t know what to do. She seems happy and active and she has a huge cage. I give her carrots nd oranges everyday. She also has a buddy. (A girl guinea pig.) Her buddy is not showing any signs of bald spots though.
Thank you!Sounds like a possibility of mites. Do you notice any dry skin on your piggy that has the bald spots? Stress can also cause some hair loss in guineas….any changes to her regular schedule? You can consult a vet if you’re not sure what mites would look like but if your pigs are caged together they would likely both need treated.
