yea, why do you let him off the lead? Just curious. I do it at the beach and it took about a week but i got my hound-dog/Shepherd mix to come to me.
I kept delicious snack treats in my pocket and when he came near me, I would just toss him one. He is such a chow hound is was literally a week when he would focus on me. The trick is to toss it in the air so he has to "work" for it. He won’t want to miss that treat!
