Hi Snaki, my daughter owns a springer spaniel and he is a very well behaved dog and great with the children but it is all about how you train them from the beginning. If you do decide to have any dog get a book from the library and study all the training methods.There is nothing more rewarding than a well behaved dog but remember the best thing you can do for him is to give him LOTS OF LOVE!
