It may be possible your horse has an ulcerated tooth. Glad you are having your horse checked by a vet. Make sure it is an equine vet because they can get your horse’s mouth opened wide and look in the back of his mouth to check all his teeth. I had the same thing happen with my horse and the equine vet found an ulcerated tooth and with the vet’s experience he was able to treat it and Cowboy’s attitude changed and he was much happier after the procedure. Your horse will thank you.
