socialize, socialize, socialize! Get that puppy around all and anything that might come up, kids, elderly, dogs, cats, men whatever. This is the start of a well rounded dog. Start with training manners. biting and jumping do not get rewarded with pets and play and treats. You can start to train him/her to sit for everything. That is like asking him/her to say please. Then get into an obedience class when he/she is about 4 months is they allow it. Set your boundries around the home with the dog and everyone in the house. Make sure everyone follows the same ones you set. if you don’t want the dog on the couch start that now. It is best to have the dog stay in a certain area when you eat. And walks are a great bonding experience. Good luck!
