Birman cats Breed Profile
Coat Type, Color & Grooming:
The Birman has what we think of as typical Siamese coloring - a cream colored coat with "points" of darker color on the face, ears, feet, and tail. However, Birmans differ from Siamese in that they have white "socks" on all four feet. Point colors are seal, chocolate, blue, and lilac. The nose and paw pads are pink.
Medium to large in size; sturdy, stocky, long body; broad, rounded head with prominent nose and round eyes; long, silky coat that may be slightly curly on stomach.
Sweet-natured and intelligent; enjoys the company of people and other pets.
