Cat Won't Use The Cat Flap

My cats have always used their 2-way cat flap. Until recently. Now one of my cats will only use it to leave the house, not to come back in. Why might this be? (Angela Feechan - Ontario)
Your cat may have had a bad experience involving the cat flap which makes her distrust it. She may have tried to enter when the other was exiting the house - to be faced head on with a flap in the face - or she could have hurt herself if trying to go through more quickly. All that we can suggest is that once the weather gets warmer you should wedge the flap open until she gains enough confidence to use the flap herself.
