I got it out and the original battery was dead w/no charge. I bought this over size battery for it and now it keys up full power and repeater as well as receives as always. I cannot operate due to my license expired years ago. so no testing was performed for quality. I am sure it still works as good as it used to, but no guaranties of quality. The radio shows field days use so some small cosmetic signs and signs of wear are shown on it. only known issues is the memory battery is dead and the battery hold clip spring does not lock. I am cleaning out the old shack and this items shows to work as noted so i can not except returns, thank you.
