Vintage Jet Age 1960 Gamble Skogmo Coronado RA-48-8182 Vacuum Tube Clock Radio For Sale -

You are offerding on a vintage 1960 Coronado (Gamble Skogmo) model RA-48-8182 vacuum tube clock radio in restored working condition.

This retro clock radio has a bright white plastic cabinet with a starburst front. The color is in the plastic, not just painted on. You can find this radio in SAMS Photofacts #512 , folder 6.

Cosmetically this clock radio is in excellent original condition (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in the cabinet.

Electrically the radio chassis was restored by me. I replaced the filter and line-isolation capacitors (last photo). With these repairs both the clock and the radio are working. (You can see that the clock\'s hands have moved between photos.) Radio plays with good volume and tone.

Coronado radios are uncommon today relative to radios by Zenith, Philco, Motorola, etc.
