Vintage French Tapestry Handbag

Up for your consideration is a stunning vintage tapestry bag with tortoiseshell frame & strap

• Beautiful vintage French handbag made from intricately woven tapestry fabric
• Classic floral pattern done in warm/dark rich colors
• Frame and chain link handle of bag are made from a tortoiseshell plastic
• Interior portion of bag is lined in black satin and contains one small pocket
• Tag sewn on to side of lining says:Made in France
• Bag measures approximately 13 1/2" long, 10" deep (including frame)and 4" wide (not stretched)
• Handle measures about 6 1/2" at drop
• No maker's tag was found on this piece - Very well made, high quality handbag!

Condition:This French tapestry bag is in very nice to excellent condition. There is some general discoloration to portions of bag that are lighter ivory in color. Several small, more prominent areas of discoloration could be found on these ivory portions - Nothing that really stands out though. There are no holes or areas of damage. Interior portion is nice and clean. Wonderful, classic handbag that will never go out of style!
