You\'re offerding on \"The Twentieth Century Atlas Of The Commercial, Geographical And Historical World\", revised edition published 1903 by L. G. Stahl. Large-Format - 11 1/2\" X 16 1/2\" Gazeteer style atlas with nice, decorative appearance.
NOTE - atlas has some significant condition issues - SOLD AS IS AS FOUND. The map of India & South Asia is missing from the book - all other maps and content are present. Africa map is marred by substantial writing in marker, Palestine map also has an area circled in marker. Europe map is present but detached, with two edge tears at bottom that extend into the map, and the North Pole map also has an edge tear that extends into the map - See photos. Be aware, there are also notes and underlining in the gazetteer sections of the atlas, but due to limitations I have focused the photos primarily on the map content. A few other small edge tears throughout, but small and nothing beyond the margin other than already referenced. Boards and spinecloth exhibit some scuff, soil and edge wear, but still nice external appearance and appeal, and binding is still solid.
All that said, there is still quite a bit of nice, unmarred content here. All of the world maps are high-quality presentation, single sided, continental maps are double page and bound so that there are no staples. For some reason, the US state maps are on cheaper paper and double sided, with the larger maps split by the seam. Still nice color and appearance, though, and all are present.
