Ayers recreation first Antman tales to astonish #27 and it’s also signed by the original inker artist Ayers! Kirby didn’t do the inking Kirby was the artist that designed the cover back Jan 1959! And Dick Ayers inked it in 1959! The item for sale is a recreation done in approx 1993-94 of Tale to Astonish #27 and was inked by Dick Ayers who also signed this actual cover! I do not think Kirby drew any part of this recreation ( Because he was all ready dead) but was credited by his ares on this certificate for his original design of this historical cover creation back in 1959! Dick Ayers signed this certificate as being the artist who drew this cover! Kirby did not sign this certificate but his wife did ! If any ones knows if this was actually Sold at Sotheby’s and how much it actually sold for plesse let me know! The only thing I know for certain that this cover is 100% authentic done by Dick Ayers a copy of the certificate comes with this purchase!
